How to have a great Hen Party at Home
Hen parties have changed over recent years, the old fashioned boozy hen night is out and fun, social and healthy hen parties at home are the hen parties of the future...
1. As with traditional hen parties, make sure that there is one person in charge of organising the fun and collecting guests payments. This would often be a job for the chief bridesmaid.
2. Its well worth booking your pamper party and any other hen party activities several months in advance so you can ensure availability and have plenty of time to collect people's payments.
3. Make sure its a man free zone for a few hours, pack them off with a job to do or even suggest they pop down the pub for a delightful couple of beers.
4. Book a Pamper Party and perhaps even consider booking a cheeky butler to greet your guests and serve your every need.
5. Organise some healthy snacks and nibbles and perhaps a bottle of wine or two, although if you are having pamper treatments it's advisable to save your drinking until after the treatment
6. Dedicate some treatment areas in your house - usually a bedroom for massage and facials and a dining room or living room for manicures and pedicures - it's entirely up to you...
7. Make sure all the hens know the timings of their treatments and other activities so that everything runs like clockwork.
8. You can still buy those hen party novelty items if you are having a hen party at home. Take a look at Silly Jokes for inspiration.
You've had a great time with your friends, you feel rejuvenated and refreshed, you didn't have to run the gauntlet of leering blokes, you had a kebab free zone and the mums and aunties had a great time too...
Hen Parties will never be the same again!
