Manicures are particularly popular for Saturday afternoon hen parties where the girls are planning to follow their Pamper Party with a night out on the town.
The Treatments
A professional manicure is a thorough hand care treatment for both the health and appearance of the hands and nails.
Mini Manicure - 15 Minutes
The Mini Manicure can be used to give your nails a shape and polish or as a lovely hand care treatment with skincare products and a hand massage up to the elbow. Different results can be achieved in 15 minutes, very much depending on the condition of your nails, however if you are looking for a thorough manicure with a special finish we would recommend the longer manicure treatments.
Express Manicure - 30 Minutes
A conditioning hand treatment, including hand massage, cuticle work, cutting & shaping of the nails and polish. Please discuss your style and finish requirements with your therapist.
Luxury Manicure - 45 Minutes
45 minutes will give you a wonderful manicure where your nails are shaped and polished to perfection. You can discuss your requirements regarding style and finish with your therapist at the beginning of your treatment.
Preparation
It is a good idea to ensure that your hands and nails are clean prior to your manicure and any pre-existing polished removed. This is especially recommended for shorter manicure treatments.
Guests are asked to sign a treatments consent form at the start of the party / event which can be shown to the therapist before the treatment commences.
After Your Manicure
Please be careful not to damage your polish after your manicure, if you are having a hot tub at your Pamper Party be careful not to use it too soon after your treatment. Our schedules are designed to separate manicure and pedicure treatments from other treatments to reduce any unintended damage to recently polished nails.
The Room and Equipment
The Manicure requires a standard table and two chairs with the client and therapist sitting opposite each other if the table is quite narrow or more usually around the corner of the table. The therapist will provide towels to protect the surface of the table.
At Pamper Parties manicures are often provided on dining room tables or kitchen tables. Sometimes a separate room is allocated but other times manicures are given in the living room so your treatment can be enjoyed in the company of the other guests.
Products Used
We stipulate that the therapist should use a good range of quality products for manicure treatments but do not have any allegiances with particular brands. Common brands include OPI and Jessica, however there are a number of quality products available and therapist choice is often determined by their particular training.
