PTA Pamper Evenings

We receive several requests per day to provide therapists for PTA and charity events. In the past we have always tried to help by forwarding details of fundraising events to therapists so they could then contact the fundraiser directly if they are interested in taking part.

Unfortunately we have found the sheer number of requests has involved quite a lot of administration and in February 2008 we have decided that we can no longer handle such requests. We are sorry that we cannot help but hope you understand that as a small company there are certain constraints on our capacity to deal with the volume of requests.

In the future we plan to develop an online request system which will allow you to post your requirements and automatically send an email to therapists in the vicinity of your event.

Advice for Fundraisers

Often therapists are willing to provide their services at fund raising events at a low cost - e.g. £30 or £40 for an evening. This will cover their costs - e.g. products, travel etc. and if the event is local they may attract new clients by handing out their business cards.

Treatments offered are usually 15 minute taster treatments and the PTA could choose to charge a fee per treatment (e.g. £10) or ask for donations.

Good organisation and marketing is the key to a successful event. Ensure the therapists know where they need to be and provide a rota so they have breaks during the evening.
